General Information about the Programme

Master of Arts Degree Programme in English Language and Literature at Istanbul Yeni Yuzyil University offers specialized training for those who wish to pursue advanced studies in language and literature. The coursework requires intensive reading and research and in class presentations and discussions.

The students are also offered a special elective module in translation and interpretation studies.

To fulfill the requirements of the M.A. Degree in English Language and Literature, students must complete at least nine courses (60 ECTS) and successfully defend a thesis (60 ECTS) supervised by their academic advisor. The Programme is full-time, English medium with a minimum duration of two academic years. Students with B.A. Degree in English or relevant fields approved by the department may apply.
